The Royal Botania Ostrea collection is a subtle tribute to the pure beauty of nature. Designed by Matthias De Ferm, this collection takes its inspiration from the organic shapes of an oyster - hence the name Ostrea, Latin for oyster. Any Ostrea Chair demonstrates exceptional technical mastery. The stainless steel tubes are rolled, bent and welded with extreme precision. The elegant silhouette fluidly follows the curves of its marine muse and makes the chair not only a functional piece of furniture, but also a sculptural object.
The collection offers a choice of two seat cushion options, each with its own character:
- A minimalist, rounded seat which leaves the back structure open and accentuates the finesse of the frame;
- Or a fully upholstered version, where the cushion follows the shape of an oyster shell, as it were - soft, inviting and aesthetically harmonious.
