traditional-teak-wilhelmina-bench
Wilhelmina Bench

The Wilhelmina is the Lutyens bench from the range, based on a design by Sir Edwin Lutyens: a curved back, elaborate armrests and a silhouette designed to serve as the focal point of a garden. With armrests at 76 centimetres, this is also the highest bench in the series.

The two sizes, 195 and 262 centimetres, are both substantial: this is a bench that closes off a sightline and not one you place somewhere in passing. The seat height of 46 centimetres and seat depth of 45 centimetres provide an upright, formal sitting posture that suits the model. Solid teak from responsibly managed plantations weathers to a silver-grey, which actually makes the curved forms stand out more sharply after a few seasons. For a formal garden with a clear axis, this is the furniture that carries the centrepiece.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0995/9971/2603/files/studio-wilhelmina_ef12ad4f-6c9f-467d-bf88-93686b80a434.jpg?v=1781694375
