The Rudolph collection Serax is inspired by the serene elegance of mid-century modern interiors, particularly the work of Rudolf Michael Schindler. This influence can be seen in the subdued shapes, low horizontal lines and soft, built-in look of the seating. However, the design also finds its origins closer to home: in the sofa Van Duysen himself has in his Portuguese home - an object that exudes tranquillity, balance and timeless beauty.
