Concept:
Even when larger areas need to be shaded, Umbrosa offers a solution. Thanks to the Ingenua's ingenious sliding system, you can easily adapt the sail to the conditions and surroundings. The sober lines and modern shapes of the Ingenua are combined with excellent performance in terms of wind resistance.
Strengths:
- Tensile fabric in combination with patented sliding system
- Resistant to high wind speeds
- Movable shade sail, adjustable according to the sun.
- Countless sail combinations
Nice to know:
- Most installations are fixed to the wall, using a wall kit or wall profile. The tarpaulins can also be attached to elements already present (e.g. trees or beams). The choice of the size and shape of a tarpaulin is a matter of personal taste and desired shade area. The sails can be used up to 50 km/h.
- In stronger winds or heavy rain, it is advisable to take off the tarpaulins. The sails are water-repellent but not waterproof.
- For a successful installation, please observe the following 3 rules of thumb:
1. The sail attachment should be in the bisector of the sail angle to ensure optimum tension.
2. It is recommended that fasteners be placed at least 0.5 m on each side of the sail
Example: A sail with a side of 4 m has attachment points at least 5 m apart.
Exception: one point can be attached directly to the wall without ropes.
3. Provide the possibility of slanting the tarpaulin (min. 30°) in case of rain to avoid bagging.
