Alain Gilles - the designer
The designer behind the Wicked collection Vincent Sheppard, Alain Gilles, did not follow a classical path to design. After studying political science and marketing management, he started his career in finance. Yet he soon felt the urge to move in a different direction. With the support of his wife, he decided to study industrial design in France - a choice that made design his second life.
That unusual background translates into designs that are strategically thoughtful, but at the same time exude emotion and sophistication. Wicked is a perfect example of this.
